The Prime Minister of India launched the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan to create a drug-free youth population for Viksit Bharat@2047.

This nationwide campaign focuses on mass awareness and behavioural change to prevent substance abuse through active community participation and healthy choices.
It aims to build a physically and mentally healthy youth population that can drive the nation toward Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The initiative will run as a 100-week national campaign, featuring awareness activities every Sunday across the nation.
More than 125 spiritual, educational, industrial, and public organizations support this drive across over 28,000 locations nationwide.
It conducts youth-centric activities such as sports, art, culture, meditation, and community service to encourage healthy living.
More than one crore youth took a nationwide public pledge to oppose drug abuse and stay drug-free.
The campaign stresses rehabilitation centers for medical help and urges society to give recovering individuals a second chance.

It fosters a healthy and productive youth workforce that is essential for reaching the goal of Viksit Bharat@2047.
It decreases substance abuse, disrupts illegal drug trafficking networks, and strengthens overall community resilience.

Under GS Paper III, it relates to Internal Security issues like Drug Trafficking, Narco-Terrorism, and Human Resource Development.
