- Seafood exports reached 19,72,018 MT in volume and ₹73,890.46 crore in value, setting an all-time record.
- Frozen Shrimp continued as the most successful export item, bringing in ₹49,037.93 crore from 7,92,647 MT.
- Shrimp shipments alone made up 40.19% of the total volume and 66.52% of total earnings.
- Shrimp exports grew by 13.16% in rupee terms and 8.64% in dollar terms compared to previous periods.
- Major ports like Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT), and Kochi Port handled the majority of these shipments.
- Both vannamei and Black Tiger Shrimp grew strongly in quantity and value, cementing India's global leadership.
