The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry launched the BHAVYA Portal in New Delhi to help run the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) scheme smoothly.
The new portal acts as a single digital interface for end-to-end implementation of the scheme.
It handles everything from submitting Detailed Project Reports to project appraisal, evaluation, and real-time monitoring.

Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana is a flagship industrial infrastructure program created to build 100 investment-ready, world-class industrial parks across the nation.
The Union Cabinet cleared a total financial outlay of ₹33,660 crore to build 100 plug-and-play industrial parks over six years.
The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) acts as the main Project Management Agency to implement and monitor the scheme.
States and Union Territories send in their project proposals based on local strengths, land availability, investor interest, and infrastructure readiness.
State Governments provide the land, while the Central Government funds infrastructure creation through NICDC using a 51:49 partnership model with States.
Park sizes range from 25 acres in hilly regions, smaller Union Territories, and Northeastern States up to nearly 1,000 acres near major cities.
These parks offer ready-to-use plug-and-play infrastructure including assured water and power supply, road and rail connectivity, and digital single-window clearances.
Modern testing facilities are set up inside these parks with help from institutions like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Export Inspection Agency (EIA), and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
The scheme aims to boost manufacturing, draw both domestic and foreign investment, create jobs, improve the ease of doing business, and support India's goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
