Email is the reliable way to reach this platform, and it is read by the people who run it. The community channels below are faster for general questions but are not a record of anything.

Email

Write to swayamgpsc@gmail.com. This single address reaches the team for every kind of request: a factual correction, a takedown, a data access or deletion request, a bug report, or a question about how something on the site is computed.

Ordinary questions are usually answered within a couple of working days. Requests that carry a statutory clock are handled on the schedule set out under grievances below.

Community channels

  • Telegram: the channel where new current affairs, quizzes and answer writing tests are announced. Join from the link in the site footer.
  • Instagram: @swayamgpsc, for daily updates and exam notifications.
  • LinkedIn: connect-with-tanmay, for anything about the platform itself rather than about the exam.

Please do not send data deletion requests or grievances through social media. They need an email so that the request, the acknowledgement and the action taken are all on one record.

Reporting a mistake in an article

Corrections are welcome and they are acted on. To make that fast, include three things in the email: the full address of the page, the sentence you believe is wrong quoted exactly, and what it should say instead. If your correction rests on an official document, a link to that document settles it in one reply rather than three.

Current affairs on this site is compiled from reporting published elsewhere and adapted for the GPSC syllabus. If a claim on a page is wrong, it is worth telling us even if the underlying source made the same mistake, because the page carries this platform as its publisher.

Data, privacy and grievances

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Swayam GPSC acts as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data it holds, and a Grievance Officer is designated for requests about it.

  • Email: swayamgpsc@gmail.com. Putting DPDPA at the start of the subject line helps, because this inbox is read by hand and shared with candidate support.
  • Every legitimate grievance is acknowledged within 24 hours and addressed within 7 business days.
  • Requests covered include access to the data held about you, correction of inaccurate details, deletion of your account and responses, and withdrawal of consent for processing.
